TSS to join forces with TRS

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD June 17. The Telangana Sadhana Samithi president, A. Narendra, said here on Monday that his party had come to an understanding with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi to fight for the Telangana cause jointly henceforth. As a beginning of the development, the two parties were jointly fighting the Medak Assembly bypoll.

Mr. Narendra told reporters that the ruling TD was deploying its resources to scuttle the chances of the TRS candidate in the elections. He alleged liquor and money flow in the constituency at the behest of the ruling party and said the Home Minister had directed the police to prevent TRS sympathisers from voting for their candidate.

The Government had also tried to prevent people from attending the "Telangana Polikeka'' organised by his party, Mr. Narendra said, adding several hurdles were created by the police. He said all pro-Telangana forces would come together in the next elections to oust the TDP.
