Murder: Police team leaves for Gulbarga

BANGALORE June 17. A police team led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Marthurkar, has left for Gulbarga to investigate the death of Ashok Guttedar in Bangalore on Saturday. Guttedar, a relative of the Congress MLA, Subash Guttedar, was shot dead in a bedroom in his father-in-law's house in Mahalakshmi Layout where he was staying, at around 11.45 p.m.

Besides the three teams constituted under assistant commissioners of police, a new team under a "mahila" police sub-inspector has been formed.
