Letters to the Editor
Sir, Dr. Kalam's selection is a golden opportunity to uphold the unity of India. He is a person of remarkable talent coupled with humility and hails from a minority community, which speaks loudly about the harmonious co-existence of the minorities with the majority Hindus in independent India. His simplicity and gentleness make him fit to adorn the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Hence, it is a rare opportunity for all political parties to elect him unanimously as President as it would send a clear message of the oneness and unity prevailing in India.
