Big jump in FDI inflow

NEW DELHI June 18. Foreign Direct Investment inflow has risen to $4 billion during 2001-2002 against $2.46 billion the previous year, a rise of 66 per cent. The increase has been recorded despite the global economic slowdown, the war clouds over the sub-continent and two major terrorist attacks in October and December last year in the country.
