Sri Lanka to repeal law

COLOMBO JUNE 18 . It was a landmark day for Sri Lanka's press today with the country's Parliament unanimously voting to repeal criminal defamation laws. Expressing support for the repeal during a four-hour debate, Parliamentarians also urged journalists to act with responsibility.
