Haq, Sattar's successor

ISLAMABAD June 19. The Pakistan Foreign Secretary, Inam-ul-Haq, will be the new Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Pakistan has been without a Foreign Minister for the last few days after Abdul Sattar resigned from the post on health grounds.

The Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, took his Cabinet colleagues into confidence today about the elevation of Mr. Haq.
