Meditation hall consecrated

Pondicherry June 21. The `noothana mahakumbhabhishekam' (consecration) of the Rs. 20-lakh meditation hall constructed at Shirdi Sai Nagar in Pillaichavady near here was performed today. Special poojas and abhishekams were performed to the idol of Shirdi Sai Baba.

Those present included the founder president of the Shirdi Sri Sai Seva Samajam, Karur, Narasimha Baba, the president of the Seva Charitable Trust, A. Sendhoor Pandian, and the president of the Seva Samiti, A. Arunachalam.

The Trust conducts homoeopathy clinic every week, serves orphanages, feeds the poor and holds religious discourses on Thursdays and Sundays.
