MUMBAI, JUNE 22. Fresh inflows have further pushed up India's foreign exchange reserves by $204 million to $56.52 billion during the week ended June 14. The rise was solely due to the foreign currency assets, which increased by $204 million to $53.27 billion in the reporting week, according to the Reserve Bank of India's weekly statistical supplement. In the previous week, foreign exchange reserves have swelled to $56.32 billion, registering a rise of $172 million. Gold and special drawing rights remained unchanged at $3,249 million and $9 million respectively for the week ended June 14, the RBI said. Loans and advances to the Central Government increased by Rs. 2,375 crores to Rs. 9,495 crores while that to State governments by Rs. 209 crores to Rs. 4,191 crores, it added. PTI
