32 children hospitalised

Pondicherry June 22. A batch of 32 children attached to a privately-run orphanage on Subbiah Salai here who developed symptoms of food poisoning on Friday were rushed to the hospital. The children who had taken `stale food' developed symptoms of vomitting and giddiness.They were admitted to the general hospital.

The Health Minister, E. Valsaraj, visited the children at the hospital. He said the hospital authorities provided immediate attention and the children were progressing. Mr.Valsaraj said the children would be discharged after l treatment.
