DMK stir continues

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI June 22. The DMK kept up its pressure on the ruling party, launching another agitation in front of the Chennai Collectorate today, even as the deposed Mayor, M. K. Stalin, took to the streets for the second day, explaining why he was thrown out.

Showing their strength in front of the Collectorate, shouting anti-AIADMK and anti-Election Commission slogans, the agitators, led by the North Madras MP, C. Kuppusamy, cautioned authorities against bogus voting and booth capturing.

Mr.Stalin, who began his mass contact campaign from yet another Ashok Pillar, this time at Ashok Nagar, told voters in the T.Nagar constituency how the AIADMK forced him out of the Mayoral office.
