India declines comment

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI JUNE 22. The Ministry of External Affairs today formally declined to react to the observations made by the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, and his newly-appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Inam-ul-Haq, as there was no change in Islamabad's position.

Official sources said Pakistan must first cut off sustenance to terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir and create an appropriate climate to ease tensions.
