CM convenes meet

CHENNAI June 22. The Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, is convening a meeting of her Cabinet colleagues and top bureaucrats, including the Chief Secretary, Secretaries of various departments and Collectors of the delta districts, in Thanjavur for June 24 to discuss ways of providing employment opportunities to `unemployed' agricultural workers there.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister will announce relief schemes for farm workers, says an official press release.
