Ph.D student found dead

CHENNAI June 22. A Ph.D research scholar, V.Selvamurugan in the Chemistry Department at IIT was found hanging in his hostel room on Friday evening. The victim had submitted his thesis last month.

The reason for the victim to take the extreme step was not immediately known. The case is under investigation.
