'Musharraf's remarks irrational anger'

New Delhi June 23. India today termed the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf's belligerent remarks in an interview to the BBC ``as irrational anger borne out of frustration.'' Gen. Musharraf had warned that Pakistan would ``teach a lesson'' to India if its forces dared to cross the LoC. The situation on the border was ``still dangerous and explosive.''

``To irrational anger borne out of frustration, we do not respond on a Sunday,'' the External Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Nirupama Rao, said when New Delhi's response was sought. ``We are studying the full text of the interview and more detailed reaction will follow in due course,'' she added.
