Opinion - Letters to the Editor

Kalam should be firm

Sir, — It is clear that an attempt is being made to promote and project Abdul Kalam as the National Democratic Alliance's, more particularly of the BJP's, spokesperson. Now that Dr. Kalam finds himself in the company of wily and self-seeking politicians, he has to be extra careful about his words and deeds. He should be firm and fearless in dealing with them. He should assert his individuality and objectivity and not allow himself to be pushed around by unscrupulous politicians.

D. Samuel Lawrence,

Madurai, T.N.
