Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Vishwa Hindu Parishad is on a warpath once again. It has described the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, as the hero of Gujarat and pride of Hindus. This testifies to the hostile stand of the VHP towards the Muslims. The VHP has also demanded an immediate ban on the madrassas which spread terrorism. Though this is acceptable to law-abiding citizens, the VHP has no moral right to say this. After Gujarat went up in flames, it has become evident that the political arm of the RSS-led Sangh Parivar is incapable of ruling the country. The Government should ban all the Parivar groups.
