Letters to the Editor
Sir, This has reference to your Editorial, `No time for intimidation' (June 24). Why this hue and cry over Time's feature which portrayed the Prime Minister as forgetful, prone to rambling and in very poor health? Why make a mountain out of a molehill? While I agree that the best course was to ignore it rather than prepare a detailed counter, the episode should prove a blessing in disguise and provoke us to debate the wider issue of the general state of physical fitness of our political leaders. How can we have aged and physically unfit leaders occupying top positions and expect them to do full justice to their duties?
Onkar Chopra, New Delhi
