16 Al-Qaeda suspects held

ISLAMABAD JUNE 29. The Pakistan military has captured 16 suspected Al-Qaeda activists involved in the killing of 10 soldiers earlier this week in tribal areas along the Afghan border as reinforcements were sent following intelligence reports that over 500 of them were still hiding there. An army contingent supported by air defence was dispatched to launch fresh raids on Al-Qaeda hideouts. — PTI
