Kanwal Sibal takes over

New Delhi July 1. Kanwal Sibal, who took over as the Foreign Secretary today, said infiltration will come to an end only if Pakistan dismantles terrorist infrastructure in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir(POK).

``You cannot stop infiltration permanently until the terrorist camps are destroyed'', he told reporters soon after assuming office at the South Block.

India will have to closely monitor whether Pakistan had taken action on the ground to stop cross- border terrorism.

Mr.Sibal succeeds Ms. Chokila Iyer.
