Cricinfo and Kingfisher launch Kirkets

Chennai July 2. CricInfo and Kingfisher have launched Kirkets, a cricket club spread across the country. With its interactive on-line and off- line offerings, CricInfo through Kirkets, wants to provide a platform for fans. The annual subscription fee is Rs. 150.

Apart from fun-filled cricket clashes to discussions with celebrity guests, the fans will get to watch some famous Indian matches from the years gone by on large screens. Also available will be live chats, superselector type fantasy leagues, screensavers and downloads, and games and quizzes — with prizes and gifts thrown in. Exclusive cricket merchandise is another attraction.

On registering with Kirkets, the members will be entitled to participate in the various off-line activities of the club. They will get discounts on Kingfisher products, including cricket merchandise.

Kirkets will also provide specially customised travel packages at attractive rates to members, during all of India's tours and tournaments, both at home and abroad. The official website of Kirkets is hosted by CricInfo at http:\\kirkets.cricinfo.com.
