NEW DELHI, JULY 4. The Trinamool Congress today sought the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee's immediate intervention in resolving the problem arising out of the decision to bifurcate the Eastern Railway.

The Trinamool Chief, Mamata Banerjee, told reporters here before leaving for Kolkata that ``the ball was in the Prime Minister's court. He has the authority to direct the Railway Minister to withdraw the order.''
