Narain set to race in Monza

BANGALORE July 6. The Indian ace, Narain Karthikeyan is all set to race in the heart of Ferrari territory on Sunday for the fourth stop of the Nissan World Series Rally championship at Monza, Italy. The home of Formula One champions Ferrari, Monza has a rich motor racing tradition and is the first of the four F-1 circuits on this World Series.

"Monza is ultra fast and the lap times for our cars are only slower than F-1 machines'', said Narain, who will be hoping to bounce back from disappointing finishes at Albacete, Spain, two weeks ago.

Although Narain has no experience of the circuit, his TATA RC Motosport team is familiar with the track and he is confident that the set up for race will be as good as can be.

Narain finished third in the second race at Jamara last month and is hoping for more places in the winner's rostrum this weekend.
