Speaker to lead MPs' team to Croatia

NEW DELHI JULY 6. The Lok Sabha Speaker, Manohar Joshi, will lead a 12-member Parliamentary delegation to Croatia from July 8 to 11 during which time the members will have wide ranging discussions with the top leaders of the Croatian Government and polity.

The delegation is scheduled to call on the Croatian President, Stjepan Mesic, and the country's Prime Minister, Ivica Racan. Also, the delegation will meet the President of the Croatian Sabor (Parliament), Zlatko Tomcic, and the First Deputy Prime Minister, Drazen Budisa. The delegation includes Eduardo Faleiro, Bherulal Meena, Ram Lakhan Singh, Yadlapati Venkat Rao, C. Krishnan and Subodh Mohite, besides the Lok Sabha Secretary-General, G.C. Malhotra.
