Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is amazing that the National Democratic Alliance has to bend so low to mollify a petulant Mamata Banerjee (July 3) who appears to be behaving more like a spoilt little brat than a seasoned politician. There is no doubt that it is the politics of numbers that has put the NDA in this sad situation. The Government should take the cue from an old Malayalam saying which translates roughly as "If your nose is likely to disappear with a sneeze, then it is perhaps not worth having such a nose."
George Paul,
