Journalist injured

SRINAGAR JULY 10. Militants today fired at and injured Shahid Rashid, editor of the local Urdu daily, New State Reporter, and the block president of the ruling National Conference, Bashir Ahmed Wani. Both are now battling for life in hospital.

A local news agency, KPS, said the Save Kashmir Movement, a militant outfit, had owned responsibility of the attack.
