Letters to the Editor
Sir, Inaugurating the Mahila Court in Coimbatore, the Chief Justice of Madras High Court remarked that the litigants expect speedy justice from courts. In this context, he praised the fast track courts in the city for speedy disposal of cases. But does this apply only to the subordinate courts? Several first appeals made in 1990 are still in hibernation in the record section of the Madras High Court. The Union Law Minister should seriously think of establishing super fast- track courts in the high court.
