The court was of the view that there were correct answers for these questions in the answer key and, therefore, should have been included in the valuation. On the Biology paper, the court held that question No. 51 of B-1 version had to be deleted, as there was much confusion as to the correct answer key.The Government pleader conceded that question No. 90 of (B-1 version) Biology was a wrong deletion. The petitioners contended that wrong deletion prejudicially affected their ranking. They sought revaluation and recasting of the rank list. The court had referred 20 disputed questions to subject experts from the Government Maharaja's College and the Cochin University of Science and Technology, seeking their opinion.
