Former CM dead

AHMEDABAD July 13. The former Chief Minister of Gujarat, Ghanshyam Oza, died here on Friday night following a prolonged illness. He was 90.

Oza who was a Minister of State for Industries in Indira Gandhi Cabinet, was sent as the Chief Minister after the Congress won the 1972 Assembly elections by a massive margin. He, however, could survive only for 16 months..
