Curb terrorism: Straw

Tokyo July 17. The British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, urged the Palestinian Authority today to further crack down on terrorists, while condemning a deadly bus attack in the West Bank.

Speaking at a joint news conference here with the Japanese Foreign Minister, Yoriko Kawaguchi, he said it was a ``very important responsibility'' of the Palestinian Authority to do more to curb terrorism.

``We want to see an even further clamping down on terrorism by the Palestinian Authority,'' he said. — AFP
