REC vacancies

KOZHIKODE JULY 19. The following are the vacancies in various RECs after the interview held today for admissions at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Kozhikode (known till recently as Kozhikode Regional Engineering College):

NIT, Calicut : general merit- B Arch -four seats; reservation-B Arch -all seats; B- X category -one seat each in electrical and civil; BH-category- 1 seat in civil; SC category- all seats except in electronics and ST category- all seats.

Other RECs/NITs: Metallurgy- Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Durgapur(one seat each); chemical- Jaipur and Roorkala; (one seat each). Nagpur- one seat structural- Rourkala- one seat -ceramic; Jhallundhar -all seats except MMD vacant; All seats for SCs and STs are vacant.

The interview of candidates ranked from 1,751 to 3,250 will be held on July 22.
