Yatra suspended

SRINAGAR JULY 21. The ongoing Amarnath yatra was temporarily suspended today following inclement weather, official sources said. The decision was taken due to heavy downpour on Baltal-Cave route and Pahalgam-Amarnath route.

However, the authorities allowed the pilgrims to resume journey on Pahalamgam-Amarnath route after ensuring that the track was not slippery. — PTI
