Cauvery case

By Our Legal Correspondent

NEW DELHI JULY 22. The Supreme Court today adjourned to July 29 further hearing in the suit filed by the Tamil Nadu Government in September last for a direction to Karnataka to release Cauvery water to the State as per the directions of the Cauvery Tribunal.

A Bench, comprising Justice H.K. Sabharwal and Justice Shivaraj V. Patil, adjourned the proceedings as Mr. Justice Patil (who hails from Karnataka) wanted to recuse himself from the case. The case will now be listed before another Bench.
