He's innocent: Sunil Dutt

NEW DELHI AUG. 1.The Congress MP and film star of yesteryear, Sunil Dutt, today defended his son Sanjay Dutt as being ``innocent'', two days after taped conversations between the actor and the underworld don Chhota Shakeel were made public.

Sunil Dutt, however, said he had ``great admiration'' and ``full faith'' in the judiciary and would accept ``with dignity'' whatever it decided.

``I feel he is innocent. If he were not innocent, I would not stand by him,'' the senior Dutt told Star News. — PTI
