T.N. Chaturvedi, Karnataka Governor

NEW DELHI AUG. 2 . A former Union Home Secretary and former Comptroller and Auditor-General, T.N.Chaturvedi, has been appointed the next Governor of Karnataka replacing Rama Devi whose term expired on July 25.

A member of the Rajya Sabha, Mr. Chaturvedi becomes the third party man in recent weeks to be named Governor.
