Rly. booking on Internet

New Delhi Aug. 3. Booking of train tickets through the Internet by people having credit cards started here today with the inauguration of the scheme by the Minister for Railways, Nitish Kumar.

Under this scheme, stated to be the first of its kind in the subcontinent, reservation for tickets in any class, to any destination besides delivery at the doorsteps of the travellers will be ensured.

The scheme will initially be available in Delhi and later extended to other cities. Concession for senior citizens and children will continue. — UNI
