Actress fails to appear

Mumbai Aug. 5. The former film actress, Parveen Babi, who claimed to have gathered evidence on involvement of actor Sanjay Dutt in the 1993 bomb blast case, today failed to depose in a designated court set up under TADA (P) Act.

Taking a serious view of the lapse, the judge ordered the registrar to issue fresh summons on her asking her to appear in person on August 8.
