Soumyadeep, Mouma get top billing

NEW DELHI AUG. 8. National champions, Soumyadeep Roy and Mouma Das (both from Petroleum), head the men's and women's seedings, respectively, in the open events of the 32nd inter-institutional table tennis championship which begins at the NDMC Indoor Stadium on Friday.

The seedings:

Men's singles: 1. Soumyadeep Roy (Petroleum), 2. Arup Basak (Petroleum), 3. Saurav Chakraborty (Rlys), 4. Ranbir Das (Rlys), 5. Subhajit Saha (Sr.) (Petroleum), 6. S. Raman (Petroleum), 7. Bhushan Thakur (Rlys) and 8. Shivaji Dutta (Petroleum).

Women's singles: 1. Mouma Das (Petroleum), 2. N. R. Indu (Petroleum), 3. Poulomi Ghatak (Petrouleum), 4. Mantu Ghosh (Petroleum), 5. Anindita Chakraborty (Rlys), 6. Vishakha Bijoy (Rlys), 7. Nandita Saha (Rlys) and 8. M. S. Mythili (Petroleum).
