Apparently questioning the conclusion drawn on the situation, a visibly-angry Lyngdoh asked the District Collector: ``How are you saying that the situation has improved?'' ``What kind of stories were you telling us over there,'' he retorted after the district officials said the people were returning home, while giving a briefing on the situation in the areas worst hit by the riots. ``The houses are all vacant. Are you not ashamed of yourselves?'' Mr. Lyngdoh asked. PTI
