8 militants killed

Srinagar Aug. 11. Eight militants, including four Pakistani infiltrators, were among 11 persons killed and a counter-insurgent associated with Ikhwan injured in separate incidents in the Kashmir Valley since last night, an official spokesman said today.

The intruders were killed when they were trying to sneak in via Manju post near the Line of Control in the Karnah sector of the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir. — PTI
