Inflation rises to 2.85 p.c.

New Delhi Aug. 11. An upward spiral in prices of manufactured products triggered a 0.12 per cent jump in the inflation rate for the third straight week to close at a 42-week high of 2.85 per cent on July 27, while the erratic monsoon offered little respite to the agriculture sector.
