Cong. members walk out of U.P. Assembly

Lucknow Aug.14. Congress members today staged a noisy walk-out in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha after their notice of propriety asking the State Government to make its stand clear on the question of issuing a fresh notification in Ayodhya case was rejected.

The matter was raised during zero hour through a notice of propriety by the Congress legislative party leader, Pramod Tewari and Jagdambika Pal.

Mr. Tewari said the Allahabad High Court had quashed the earlier notification pointing out a legal defect and said the State Government, if it so desired, could issue a fresh notification removing the defect
