England draws with India

LONDON AUG. 19. The English women held on gamely to draw the second cricket Test against India at Taunton on Saturday.

At close on the final day, England was 198 for six in its second innings, with skipper Clare Connor leading the way with an unbeaten 46. The host had conceded a first innings lead of 134 runs. The first Test also ended in a draw.

The scores: England 333 & 198 for six (Calre Connor 46 not out) drew with India 467.
