'Allegations of land allotment bogus'

NEW DELHI AUG. 19. The allegations of allotment of land to the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani's daughter, Pratibha Advani, were all bogus and no such allotment had been made, sources close to Mr. Advani said today.

``They (the allegations) are all bogus. No such allotment has been made and no application has been given,'' the sources said commenting on the allegations made by the Uttaranchal Congress spokesman, Surendra Kumar, at a press conference in Dehra Dun earlier today.

Mr. Kumar had said that ``in Dehra Dun, 60 acres of land has been given to Ms. Pratibha Advani, daughter of Mr. Advani, by the BJP Government at extremely low rates." — UNI
