Jethmalani briefs Advani

NEW DELHI AUG. 19. Ram Jethmalani, Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, who favoured postponement of the coming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, today briefed the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, on his recent visit to the State.

In his hour-long meeting, Mr. Jethmalani is understood to have apprised Mr. Advani of the views of the committee on the conduct of elections.

However, he refused to talk to presspersons after the meeting. — UNI
