ICC Champions Trophy tickets sale opens from Aug. 23

LONDON Aug. 21. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that tickets for next month's ICC Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka will go on sale from August 23. International fans will be able to directly purchase the tickets from the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL), according to a release issued here by the ICC.

The cost of watching the world's leading international teams play 15 matches in 18 days has been set at lower than usual domestic Sri Lankan prices, to encourage local support as possible, the ICC said. — UNI
