Sunil Kumar back in Davis Cup squad

NEW DELHI AUG. 23. Sunil Kumar was drafted back into the Davis Cup squad for the World Group qualifying tie to be played against Australia in Adelaide from September 20 to 22.

Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi, Rohan Bopanna and Harsh Mankad were the other members of the five-member team announced by the Chairman of selectors, Mr. Shyam Minotra here on Friday.

It was announced that Ramesh Krishnan would select the four-member team before the tie, and decide on the singles player to support Leander Paes.

The team with ATP rankings: Leander Paes (982), Mahesh Bhupathi (815), Rohan Bopanna (432), Sunil Kumar (744) and Harsh Mankad (1319). Captain: Ramesh Krishnan, Doctor: Dr. Vece Paes and Physiotherapist: Sanjay Singh.
