New Delhi Aug. 25. The Tehelka news portal, in a surprising move, has removed the name of the former Samata Party president, Jaya Jaitly, from the ``corrected'' list of the persons to whom money was paid during the sting operation on the alleged corruption in defence deals.

In his affidavit filed before the Venkatswami Commission, Tehelka investigation editor, Anirudh Bahal, has annexed two pages of the list in which Jaitly's name has been replaced by the Rajasthan unit chief of Samata Party, Gopal Pachirwal. The original list providedto the Commission earlier had name of Jaitly as a person given Rs. 2 lakhs.
