By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI Aug. 26. The TNCC president, E.V.K.S.Elangovan, today said the possibility of the Congress taking the lead for the formation of a third front would be explored, a request made by the Indian National League.

He would speak to the film actor, Rajnikant, if need arose.

The Congress Jananayaga Peravai leader, P.Chidambaram, was of the opinion that a third front was necessary, Mr. Elangovan said.
