3 cricketers die in accident

VELLORE Aug. 26. Three cricketers working for TNT company in Bangalore — Prakash (24), Naveen Kumar (25) and Bharat (24)— were killed and three of their colleagues injured when a Chennai-bound lorry collided with the Tata Sumo car in which they were travelling on the bypass Road in Ranipet on Monday. They were returning to Bangalore after playing a cricket tournament in Ambattur on Sunday.

The injured — Mallikarjun (27), Chandrasekhar (29) of Nanjappa Garden, Bangalore and Deepak (19), — have been admitted to a private hospital.
