West Indies tour: three-day match venues announced

MUMBAI AUG. 27. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the venues of two three-day matches against the West Indies, scheduled to tour India in October 2002.

Bangalore will host the October 4-6, 2002 three-day game between the tourists and Board President's XI and Pune will host the second tour game against India `A' from October 24-26, according to a BCCI media release on Tuesday.

The itinerary: Oct 4-6: Tour game vs Bd President's XI at Bangalore. Oct 9-13: First Test at Mumbai. Oct 17-21: Second Test at Chennai. Oct 24-26: Tour game vs India A at Pune. Oct 30-Nov 3: Third Test at Kolkata. November 6: First one-dayer at Jamshedpur. Nov. 9: 2nd ODI at Nagpur. Nov. 12: 3rd ODI at Rajkot. Nov. 15: 4th ODI (d/n) at Ahmedabad. Nov. 18: 5th ODI at Baroda. Nov. 21: 6th ODI at Jodhpur. Nov. 24: 7th ODI at Vizag.
